Wills ensure that your assets pass to those you want to provide
for and make administration of your estate easier. In particular
in this part of the Country inheritance tax is increasingly
relevant to all sections of society and carefully planned
Wills and/or Trust can help to minimise inheritance tax.
If you are contemplating your inheritance tax position, drafting
or updating your will, or considering trusts, contact Christopher
Hadfield to discuss your options in more detail.
Your
Will is probably one of the most important documents that
you will sign in your lifetime and as such warrants careful
consideration to make sure your wishes are properly reflected. |
In the event of a death Christopher Hadfield
will deal with the administration of the estate sympathetically
and efficiently. In some circumstances there may be opportunity
for saving tax with the right advice.
If you leave no Will or a Will that is invalid then the general law sets out what will happen to your estate. In many cases that will not be the same as you would wish. You may be delaying making a Will because you are uncertain of what to do. A meeting with your Solicitor will clarify your ideas and the options available to you. Even if you are uncertain about some decisions and especially if you have young children a Will which may not be perfect is better than no Will at all, and it can be changed later as families grow up or circumstances change
For those with mobility problems the Firm has a ground floor office and we regularly visit clients either at home or in Hospital.
